rising temperature of water in a enclosed tank due to sunlight in the summer

Hi , I am new here and I don't have a strong background in mechanics or thermodynamics. I am just starting to explore this field. My problem is that I want to calculate the rising temperature of the liquid (lets just assume water, initial temperature 30℃) inside the tank while exposed to sunlight (with ambient temperature, 36℃) for six hours. I am doing some FE simulaton. However, I want to verify with my simulation results with conventional calculation . Can anyone suggest any approach to solve this problem.

Steam dryness fraction x

Hi, why is it that when saturated steam with a quality of 0.5 is isentropically expanded in a turbine, the dryness fraction increases slightly? Shouldn't it go down?

Thanks

How to make my production line more efficient? (Melting/Cooling Oils)

I own a natural skincare brand where most products contain just 2 or 3 ingredients.

Our current process looks like this-

  • We melt hard oils/butters in a large oil melter

  • We dispense these oils into small bowls and mix with a liquid (carrier) oil

  • We let the mixture cool and we blend with a hand mixer

  • We do this across dozens of small bowls (more surface area for cooling)
