Left side of critical region:
- Flow is Laminar
- Friction factor depends only upon Reynolds number
Just to the right of critical region:
- It is called transition region
- f depends upon Reynolds number and e/D
Far right side of Moody chart:
- It is called 'fully rough zone' or 'fully turbulent zone'
- f depends upon e/D only (relative roughness)
