What is kinematic viscosity?

Ans: Kinematic Viscosity is the ratio of dynamic viscosity to density (ν = μ/ρ).

This ratio appears in many engineering calculations hence for convenience the the ratio has given a name "Kinematic Viscosity".

The common units of kinematic viscosity are m^2/s and Stoke.
