proces of an oven

When heating an oven. Is this a proces of the 1st, 2nd or ... order. Why? Is there any dead time. If yes, what causes this dead time.

It is a first order process.

It follows Fourier law of heat conduction and forced heat convection. Both processes are modeled as first order equations.

There must be a dead time. The reason for dead time is no substance has infinite thermal conductivity hence it takes time to reach the final condition from initial condition. Also, the heat transfer coefficients between substance and oven surface are also not infinite.
