What is process heat?

Ans: Many systems and devices like chemical, pulp and paper, oil production and refining, steelmaking, food processing, and textile industries require energy input in the form of heat. This heat is called process heat.

The process heat in above said industries is usually supplied by steam at 5 to 7 Atm pressure and 150 to 200 degrees Celsius.
