Is natural convection possible in space?

Ans: No. Natural (or forced) convection does not occur between objects in space. The convection mode of heat transfer requires a medium like air to transfer the heat through bulk motion of fluid molecules.

The dominant mode of heat transfer in space is radiation heat transfer.
