What is control mass?
Answer : - A closed system is also known as a control mass
- The mass does not cross the system boundaries hence it is a constant quantity
- Contrary to control mass, an open system is called control volume, where a region is selected in space and analyzed.
- Energy and mass both can cross the boundary of control volume (called control surface)
